In terms of construction, PRS uses traditional principles and provides the mahogany body with a solid maple top, while the glued mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard with the coveted bird inlays. A clear sound is provided by two PRS 85/15 "S" pickups with a pleasant balance of bass and treble, while the "Paul's Guitar"-inspired circuit with two mini-switches allows both humbuckers to be split separately.
