The scratch button feels too light and the menus on CDJ-350 are sometimes of hard access.
The DJM-350 have no balanced xlr balanced outputs (what it is a great defect) or usb conection. The conection to pc have to be done by each CDJ individualy.
without counting on this, this is a great product if you are buying your first dj gear.
The 350 setup I find is good for beginners. There arent many features on the players or mixer but that allowed me to focus on learning the basics and getting creative with how I used the equipment to mix.
I found the RECORD feature on the mixer very helpful when it came to listening back on my sets to find errors and places that could have been tighter or more fluid. The faders feel fluid, though the cover on my cross fader has been slipping off. The effects on the mixer are simple but are welcome additions. I only wish that it had a send and return for my efx.
The players themselves feel good to use. Everything is spaced out and formatted correctly. The platter is a bit difficult to use for scratching if that is what you had in mind. The jog wheels are smooth and light making it easy to get the beat-matching down to the mile second. The display gives you all the information you need, no thrills there.
Over all the setup is a pleasure to use, top quality feel and performance and build quality. The sound definition is also great when paired up with a set of good studio monitors and the case (I have the white version) has a solid build, I felt more than confident that it would not fail when I am carting my equipment from gig to gig!
I hope this is helpful to you! I would definately recommend these to anybody interested in beginning or upgrading from cdj 400s!
