Fans of RME's HDSPe AIO can now look forward to a completely revised reissue of the popular PCIe interface. The Pro version offers professional users in the field of studio and broadcast the usual high number of channels - 30 in total - as well as digital/analog input and output diversity. And all this improved to define the state-of-the-art in the field of PCI Express cards.
The HDSPe AIO Pro's inputs and outputs can all be used simultaneously, even SPDIF (RCA) and AES/EBU (XLR), while TotalMix (flexible routing mixer) and SteadyClock FS (excellent clock generation with maximum jitter suppression in third-party synchronization) are also on board. The HDSPe AIO Pro also supports the use of the optional TCO for synchronization to timecode.
Furthermore, the new HDSPe AIO Pro relies on the reference chips AK5572 and AK4490 of the high-end AD/DA converter ADI-2 Pro. The analogue input range also relies on the circuit design of the ADI-2 Pro (+24 / +19 / +13 / +4 dBu). Furthermore, RME has extended the outputs with additional switchable reference levels (balanced: +24 / +19 / +13 / +4 dBu; unbalanced: +19 / +13 / +4 / -2 dBu) to make integration into signal chains even more versatile. In this context, the HDSPe AIO Pro works with a dedicated attenuator in the output section, which not only improves the signal-to-noise ratio but also allows a lower output impedance at low reference levels.
Other highlights of the HDSPe AIO Pro include the newly developed, powerful and extremely transparent headphone output. With mute relays including switchable output levels, the headphone output, as well as the analogue XLR and RCA outputs, eliminate annoying clicks when the computer is switched on.
This and much more in compact PCIe format and RME typical quality!
