Four-string electric bass with Delano pickups and active 2-band electronics, including gigbag The Sandberg California TM4 4-String Bass Guitar Cream High-Gloss is a 4-string bass guitar, featuring an alder body, a Canadian hardrock maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets, Delano pickups, chrome hardware, and a hardcore cream high gloss finish. The New California TM4 5-string bass guitar features volume, balance, bass and treble controls as well as Sandberg Vintage style tuners to help you create a great live sound or in the studio. With 22 frets of a rosewood fingerboard connected to a hardrock Canadian maple neck, this is a sturdy and reliable bass guitar that comes in a smooth cream finish.

I needed a backup bass for my trusty Fender Jazz. After reading researching the instruments on-line and never having played one I took a chance and bought the Sandberg California TM4. I've played 100's of basses over the years and have never found an instrument that I would regard as superior to the Fender Jazz range - until now. The Sandberg ticks all the boxes: fast neck, warm sound, great electronics, perfect weight distribution (same weight as the Fender but feels lighter). I really cannot fault it except to say the stock strings do the instrument no justice. I am now the happy owner of two Sandberg Californian's and have sold my Fender Jazz as it just cannot compete with the Sandbergs.

Very pleased with purchase. Able to have a nice low action as neck has no nasty high frets. Cant fault it especially for the price.
