The Squier FSR Classic Vibe Late '60s Jazz Bass LRL Lake Placid Blue is a factory special run with the authentic appointments of the late sixties.
The comfortable maple neck in classic jazz bass C with 38 mm nut width is connected to the poplar body via four screws.
Comfortable offset design
The design of the Classic Vibe Late '60s Jazz Bass naturally follows the historical specifications of the late sixties. The poplar body, lacquered in classic "Lake Placid Blue", fits the player with ideal balance thanks to the asymmetrical "offset" design. Due to the C-profile with proven 38 mmnutwidth, the bolt-on maple neck also offers particularly agile playing characteristics, so that on the Indian Laurel fingerboard every groove goes out of the hand with ease.
Fender-designed Alnico single coils and the traditional passive circuit promise the typical sound variety at the bass amplifier.
Fender Designed Pickups
The pickups of the Squier Classic Vibe Late '60s Bass were designed by Fender and elicit authentic vintage tones from the bass amp. Freely mixable via separate volume controls, the classic Alnico single coil pickups promise a wide range of tones, providing not only rich sounds with a deep bass foundation, but also taut sounds with high assertiveness and brilliance. The classic treble slider is also available for adjusting the sound.
Classic open-gear bass tuners keep Squier's FSR Late '60s Jazz Bass securely in proper tune.
Vintage style hardware
A reliable hardware setup in both classic and functional Vintage-Style completes the FSR Classic Vibe Late '60s Jazz Bass LRL Lake Placid Blue by Squier. The classic 4-saddle bridge with ribbed steel string riders not only supports the characteristic sound of the electric bass guitar, but also guarantees accurate intonation and comfortably playable string action. At the headstock in classic FenderStyle a bone saddle also guides the strings to the precise and tuning stable vintage style bass tuners with open gear.
