The Strymon DIG V2 is the all-purpose weapon for digital delay effects on stage and in the studio. Inspired by classic digital rack delays of the eighties, the pedal offers two independent delay channels and provides everything from smooth slapback Delay to experimental echo sounds in professional and high-resolution quality. furthermore, thanks to its inputs and outputs in stereo format as well as numerous control options via MIDI and Expression, the Strymon DIG V2 is well equipped for almost any application.
Delay sounds from Eighties to Modern
As a basis for the appropriate delay sound, three basic delay sounds are available that can be selected via the Type Switch: 24/96 creates a modern digital Delay with a resolution of 24-bit and 96 kHz and provides clear, sterile Repeats without sound coloration. The adm mode, on the other hand, follows the innovative Adaptive Delta Modulation process of the early eighties and provides broadband and dynamic delay sounds. Those who prefer darker and warmer delays will ultimately find the right sounds in the 12-bit mode.
Separate delay channels
Thanks to the dual design, two delay channels with separate settings are available. Delay 1 has the Time knob and a Mix knob to determine the delay tempo and signal amount, while Delay 2 can be controlled via Time 2 and Mix 2 to create rhythmic pulsating patterns in the offset between both delays. Furthermore, the DIG V2 offers three different modulation settings as well as global controls for Tone and Repeats, which influence both delay circuits.
Suitable connections for every situation
In classic Strymon manner, numerous connection options are available, which provide the appropriate options for every area of application. The inputs and outputs are in stereo format, and the smart pedal can be easily integrated into stereo setups. Also the control via expression, Tap tempo and even MIDI is possible via the common connection socket or the separate USB port, which also allows the installation of firmware updates.
