The Valeton GP-100 presents itself as an absolute all-round carefree package for electric guitarists. Authentic amp and cabinet sounds
The basic sound of each amp and speaker model is based on the most advanced digital modeling technology to reproduce each amp sound as authentically and realistically as possible in terms of response and tonal characteristics. The 45 models in the selection of different amp types include numerous classics from traditional vintage amps with UK or US voicing to monstrous high-gain beasts, so that guitarists of all stripes are guaranteed to get their money's worth with the DP-100 and find their personal sound.
Support for third-party IRs
Of course, choosing the right cabinet and microphone is just as important for the guitar sound. For this purpose, the GP-100 not only offers 40 pre-installed impulse responses, but also the option of using external third-party IRs. There are 20 internal memory slots that can be filled with numerous favorite IRs using the additional GP-100 software. Of course, the software also offers advanced tweaking options that allow you to make minute adjustments to the sound of the impulse responses.
On the front, the Valeton GP-100 offers outputs in stereo format, aux input for backing tracks and headphone output as well as a USB port for connection to PCs, tablets and other devices.
Extensive effects section
It goes without saying that an electric guitarist's fleet includes numerous effects that give the sound that certain something. The DP-100's effects section provides 140 of the most popular effects from the areas of overdrive/distortion, dynamics, modulation, room-filling delay/reverb effects and other useful effect types. Thanks to the particularly user-friendly and extensive setting options, these can be arranged in a wide variety of ways in the DP-100's FX loop to get the most out of every simulated stompbox.
Connections for every application
Whether in the rehearsal room, at the studio or at home on the couch: the front connection panel offers versatile connectivity for almost any application. Two 6.35 mm jack outputs are available to output the sound, which can be used to control two speakers simultaneously and create room-filling stereo setups. Devices such as PCs, tablets and much more can be connected via the USB port to either call up useful editing functions via software or use the GP-100 as an audio interface for high-quality direct recordings. Furthermore, the aux input for backing tracks and a headphone connection provide practical functions for practicing and jamming.
