Legendary reverb and delay effects, eight on-board preset memory locations (128 via MIDI) and other features
The Wampler Catacombs contains a total of six delays and five reverbs, ranging from time-honored classics with vintage character to modern modulations. In addition to shimmer, plate, jump, room and reverb reverbs, the pedal contains analog, bucket brigade, faux tape echo, echo space, multi-head/tape and digital delay effects, allowing countless combinations to create dense echo walls or broad soundscapes. The color-coded parameter designations simplify operation enormously, which not only benefits professionals - beginners quickly get into an effective workflow, which is characterized by a flat learning curve compared to similar pedals. Another practical feature is the eight preset memory locations, which can be expanded to 128 via MIDI, while the pedal can be fully controlled via MIDI with CC and PC commands and is even MIDI clock compatible. All parameters can also be controlled via an external expression pedal, which is particularly suitable for live use.
