The drummer has 9 trigger inputs at his disposal. Ten different training programs in different styles help perfectly to train timing, precision and expression. The free DTX smartphone app includes various challenges and practice songs. With the RecNshare function you can play to your favourite songs, record and mix the performance in picture and sound and then publish it on YouTube. Any conventional DAW can also be controlled via USB. The compact and simple design promises quick assembly and dismantling.
The revised drum sound module of the Yamaha set features 287 drum and percussion sounds in 10 editable kits and an additional 115 keyboard sounds that can be assigned to the individual pads. The three mono pads for toms and the TP70S snare pad with three rubber zones have excellent rebound and a natural feel. The three mono cymbal pads have the proven choke function and a new perforated design. The KP65 Kick-Pad incl. FP-6110A single pedal and the HiHat controller promise perfect feel and low volume.

With the special iOS / Android app DTX402 Touch you can train in an entertaining and easy to understand way. In challenge mode with the integrated training program you learn the drums with video game character. Once the last phase is completed, you will receive a Yamaha Drummer Certificate. The drum kits can also be adjusted with the editor function. The DTX402 series also works with the Rec'n'Share iOS app, so you can practice and perform your favorite music, then easily share the video on YouTube, for example. For music production, the module can be connected to the computer and controlled by a DAW.
