Marshall Amplification – Rock'n'Roll Icon Since 1962!

Every guitarist dreams of one day standing in front of huge Marshall walls on the great stages of the world: The Marshall Amplification name is inextricably linked with the history of rock and no stage can be imagined without it! The company from Milton Keynes in England, founded in 1962 by Jim Marshall, not only looks back on a long and traditional history, but also on a multitude of legendary guitar heroes who became famous on the basis of the coveted Marshall sound. Yngwie Malmsteen, AC/DC's Angus Young, Slash - even Jimi Hendrix: They all and many more relied on the unmistakable overdrive sound and shaped their style with these iconic Marshall amplifiers.

Among the most famous models is, of course, quite clearly the Marshall JTM45 - also called Plexi. The 30-watt top heralded the amplifier manufacturer's sonic legacy in 1962 with its raw, powerful overdrive and found numerous musicians who swear by its ease of use and immense sonic power in Eric Clapton (then with Cream), Angus Young, Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page. No wonder, then, that the Plexi is still known today as the epitome of rock of the sixties and seventies!

Jim Marshall then set another milestone with the legendary JCM series, above all the JCM 800, which defined the sound of hard rock and heavy metal of the eighties. Alongside Metallica's James Hetfield and Megadeth's Dave Mustaine, Jeff Beck, Michael Schenker and Jeff Hanneman from Slayer also relied on the 100-watt behemoth for their unmistakable high-gain sounds. Guitarists like Buddy Guy, Billy Corgan and John Frusciante, on the other hand, proved that the JCM 800 has much more to offer than just raw power and used it successfully in the context of blues, grunge and for experimental guitar sounds.

Stage, studio, or bedroom: Find the right Marshall amplifier for every application!

For today's applications in studios, on stages and also for bedroom shredders, Marshall Amplification now offers a variety of valve and transistor amplifiers with modern features. Especially for ambitious beginners, the popular MG series is considered the perfect introduction to the Marshall sound. The compact combo amps in transistor design come in the coveted Marshall design and offer, in addition to different power levels, useful features such as a headphone jack, an aux input for playing music and backing tracks and even a metronome function for practicing the first riffs and licks.

The Marshall Origin amplifiers remain classic in design and are aimed at fans of straightforward tube amplifiers. The tops and combos equipped with EL34 power tubes behave in terms of sound and response like classic tube amps and bring real Marshall tube sound for little money in the rehearsal room or on stage. The powerful output stage power can be reduced in several stages to always provide the right level in the studio or home use.

If the powerful 100-watt power amp output of the JCM 800 Reissue is too much for home use, you can fall back on the miniature versions of the Marshall Studio Series. Smaller replicas are available here in the form of the 2525 Mini Jubilee, SC20 Classic and SV20 Vintage in combo and head form with matching cabinets. The amplifiers, which are based on classic valve technology, offer a reducible power of 20 to 5 watts to provide adequate sound for the rehearsal as well as the living room at home.

Marshall Lifestyle

In addition to the enormous variety of guitar amplifiers, the traditional British company has now also entered the fields of modern Bluetooth headphones and HiFi speakers. In addition to the extremely popular Marshall headphone models Major, Minor and Monitor in the classic Tolex design of the legendary guitar amplifiers, Marshall offers with compact and powerful HiFi Bluetooth speakers such as the Acton, Woburn and Stanmore the right speakers for the kitchen or the garden party, while portable models such as the Stockwell, Killburn or Uxbridge promise the very best music enjoyment on the go.
