With the Boss EV-1-WL, effects giant Boss introduces the first wireless MIDI expression pedal that is an absolute all-rounder thanks to its Bluetooth function and numerous other connection options. On the one hand, the EV-1-WL can easily be used via the class-compliant USB port on the front panel to control effect parameters in DAWs and music software in real time. For direct communication with MIDI-capable effect devices, there is also a separate MIDIOut for connection to MIDI inputs in TRS or 5-pin format. If you prefer not to use cables at all, you can simply use the EV-1WL's integrated Bluetooth function. Especially in combination with the optionally available Roland WM-1 Wireless MIDI Adaptor, any MIDI-capable device benefits from the advantages of wireless control.
Last but not least, the free EV-1-WL Editor App for iOS and Android allows for extensive Deep Level Editing possibilities, and for example, to adjust individual MIDI parameters, the pedal's response and much more. You can also set different MIDI CC settings for each output and use all three connection paths simultaneously.
