The 1U Cockpit X from Endophin.es is the latest Generation of the popular Eurorack stereo mixer. Channels 1 to 4 have true stereo inputs with jack sockets for the left and right sides. As the inputs are normalized, mono signals can also be fed in without any problems, which are then automatically converted to Stereo. On the bottom of the module are channels 5 and 6, which have other connections and can be connected to Intellijel Mixup, 1U Aux Mix or 1U XY IO. The volume controls are equipped with a mute function, so you can mute the corresponding channel without having to change the level. Like its predecessors in the Cockpit series, the Cockpit X also boasts plenty of headroom and excellent audio quality. The cool side-chain ducking function can be influenced via a trigger or audio signal (preferably a kick drum) and compresses the audio signals. There is a separate decay envelope for targeted control of the ducking function. This is certainly interesting for some users to add a certain rhythm to drones or to give the techno live set more punch. The stereo output provides a decent line signal. In addition, the Cockpit X can be connected to the audio outputs of the Intellijel cases Palette 62, Palette 104 and 7U Performance Case via a 6-pin connector.
