Fame Audio Discovery 15A DSP

With the Discovery series Fame Audio presents active 2-way speakers and subwoofers that set new standards in quality, functionality and design in their price class.

Whether in the rehearsal room, the event hall or in the club, the Fame Audio Discovery 15A DSP offers proper pressure with high-resolution sound. The included digital signal processor (DSP) allows you to adjust the sound to any circumstance. The processor offers different presets (Normal, Live, Club, Speech) and EQ settings. In addition to the DSP, the active speakers feature 2 input channels (XLR/jack and RCA/AUX) and an XLR mix output. Also practical are the integrated, and 7.5 "tiltable 35 mm flange and the two M10 mounting points on the top of the cabinet.

With their powerful and precise bass, the active subwoofers form the perfect foundation for the Fame Audio Discovery 15A DSP speakers. The crossover function integrated into the DSP makes it easy to combine tops and subs. The DSP also offers convenient presets for "Cardioid" and "Endfire" positioning for larger sound reinforcement applications.

The Fame Audio Discovery 15A DSP reaches 124 dB, the highest sound pressure level within the Discovery series from Fame Audio. Equipped with a 15" woofer and 2.5" voice coil, it reaches down into lower frequency ranges than the other two speakers with a frequency response of 45 to 20,000 Hz. With an output of 400 watts (RMS) thanks to the integrated Class-D and Class AB - power amplifiers, this speaker is particularly suitable for sound reinforcement applications where power and powerful bass are essential.

Connection options

The first input channel is equipped with an XLR/jack combo socket (6.35mm), which allows the use of line signals as well as direct operation with a dynamic microphone. The second input channel is used for wired use of eg. smartphones, tablets, MP3 player or laptop via RCA or 3.5mm jack (Aux). The XLR mix output allows the output of the sum signal to another box.

The Fame Audio Discovery 15A DSP can be used equally well standing up or lying down, so that this can also be used as a stage monitor. Due to the 35 mm flange insert, which can also be tilted and 7.5 °, the speaker can also be mounted on a conventional speaker stand.

The high-quality plastic housing has a sturdy carrying handle and robust rubber feet as well as two integrated M10 mounting points on the top.
