Fame SP-5100 Stage Piano, 88-Note Hammer Action KeyboardI bought this piano to carry around for music rehearsals since my other piano is not so portable.
As far as I am aware this is the cheapest 88 key weighted piano on the market. Given that, I think it delivers just fine.
The piano sound is OK, although I find the sustain on the notes is not long enough so it is difficult to build up the sound as you play.
There is an option to adjust the piano sound by adding reverb and chorus. I find that this does improve the sound quite a bit.
The touch on the keys is not as good as other electric pianos I have played - but then all of those were more than three times the price of this one.
It is well provided with midi interface and controls, including a USB connection which is well worth having.
So, on balance, Im happy with my purchase for a piano for rehearsals, but I wouldnt use it for a performance.
It is about what you should expect for the price.
Hey everyone. I did buy this piano and i have to say i am really satisfied from what i got. Actually i didnt expect it to be so good. The price is really good, its not too expensive and the quality you will get for it is covering above your expectations :). So far i have played only on classic pianos but since i have moved to Denmark i had to buy stage piano. If you are looking for something good and with a decent price that is the product you should buy :)
