The neck, screwed together according to the classic method, lies firmly in the hand with the strong "Nocaster U" profile.
Classic Tele with extraordinary woods
In the basic design, the Fender Custom Shop team at Fender 1952 NOS Telecaster follows the classic Tele design, but relies on an extraordinary wood combination. The body is made of ash and the screwed neck of mahogany, while the fingerboard is made of ebony. Accordingly, this interpretation of the Telecaster has a particularly warm basic sound, in which the typical Twang still shines through. The extremely strong "Nocaster U"-profile of the neck lies full in the hand when playing electric guitar and offers a comfortable basis for riffs and licks even with energetic playing style.
Via the 4-way switch, the hand-wound Custom Shop Single Coils can be called up individually as well as in serial or parallel wiring.
Hand-wound single coils from the Custom Shop
Two hand-wound custom shop pickups are used as pickups on the Fender 1952 NOS Telecaster. A '51 Nocaster Single Coil sits on the neck, while a Nocaster Single Coil takes up the space on the bridge. With them, the electric guitar on the amplifier delivers a creamy single coil sound that transmits every note with the typical mahogany warmth and does not deny the typical twang in the tone development. In addition, the 4-way blade switch can be used to call up both pickups individually as well as in serial or parallelconnection, so that extensive tones are available. Master Volume and Master Tone controls are also on board for further adjustment.
The transparent finish makes the mahogany of the neck easy to see.
The slanted brass string riders guarantee a perfect intonation, while the string guidance through the body characterizes the sound.
Typical Telecaster Hardware
Classic hardware equipment completes the Fender 1952 NOS Telecaster EB Nocaster Blonde. For example, a Fender Vintage Style Telecaster Bridge is used on the body, which, with its string guidance through the body and three brass "barrel" string riders, contributes significantly to the strong sound development. Due to the slight inclination of the three double riders, a perfect adjustment of the intonation is also possible. At the headstock the strings are first guided over the bone saddle before they find their way to the Fender Vintage tuners, which convince with precise running and high tuning stability.
