Thick Soft V maple neck with satin finish
The Fender JV Modified '60s Stratocaster MN Olympic White relies on a beefy Fifties neck made of maple, whose Thick Soft V profile is modeled after the feel of classic Fifties Stratocaster models. Here, the Satin Finish on the back of the neck provides a comfortable thumb rest and smooth layer changes across all 21 frets in the medium-jumbo format, while the modernized fretboard radius of 9.5" skillfully underscores both confident chord playing and controlled bending.
The Fender JV Modified '60s Stratocaster MN Olympic White offers classic Strat feel, additional switching options and tuning stable locking tuners.
Neck pickup in all positions
In order to elicit additional tone colours from the Fender JV Modified '60s Stratocaster MN Olympic White that go beyond the familiar options of the Stratocaster, the three vintage-style single coils used are classically wired but can add the neck pickup in any switching position by operating the push/pull function of the second tone control. Thus, the JV Modified '60s Stratocaster MN Olympic White also provides the sound character known from the intermediate position of the Telecaster, which results from the combination of neck and bridge pickup. If you want to hear the full range of the Stratocaster, you can simply press the Push/Pull knob in position 2 to activate all three single coils simultaneously.
