Semi Hollow Body & Thin-'U' Maple Neck.
As a true Gretsch Electromatic, the G5655TG features a maple laminate body whose center block construction can be easily extended at higher volumes without creating unwanted Feedback. A resonant glue joint, on the other hand, connects the maple neck, whose Thin-'U' profile is somewhat slimmer and emphasizes classic techniques from fingerpicking to chord playing.
Two Black Top Broad'Tron humbuckers deliver a particularly warm sound, which is supported by the natural timbre of the semi-hollow guitar.
Blacktop Broad'Tron Pickups

The Output of both pickups is tuned to each other to provide balanced sounds even in the intermediate position.
