The HyperSynth Xenophone Analogue Monophonic Synthesizer is an advanced analogue mono synth with a full, 100% analogue signal path. With three oscillators, two subs, four ring modulators, one multimode VCF and analogue distortion, this synthesiser gives you plenty of options to modify your sounds. All these are based on discrete analogue circuits that are followed by high end stereo digital delay and reverb.
These extensive modulation capabilities of the Xenophones sound engine plus the warm and unique character of its filters, makes it the best choice for making deep basses, aggressive leads, transparent and crisp synth lines, punchy percussive sounds and many more. As well as doing all this, the Xenophone can be used as an audio processor to colourise an external input with analogue filters, distortion and DFX.
User input is achieved by 26 encoders and 27 buttons, putting all major parameters at your fingertips without needing to dive into menus. The encoders give you 96 smooth steps per rotation that mimic pot's feeling and sweep range. Simplicity and intuitiveness were thought of when the layout was designed. 88 LEDs and an OLED display give you an idea of what's going on, with things like Master Tempo and all the LFO's have LEDs showing the BMP and rates. Presets can be previewed without the need of any external keyboard by using 3 buttons in 3-octave range or pre-defined notes. The user interface is very easy to learn and get creative without anything useless things getting in the way.
This monophonic synthesiser can be used on its own, or as a fully programmable synth that responds to standard MIDI messages plus dedicated CC and NRPNs. Included software called XEeditor allows you to control and automate every parameter of the sound engine remotely via MIDI and storing your patches on your PC and vise-versa.
The Xenophone is housed in an aluminium enclosure that's ended with a pair of handmade, vintage style wooden panels. 2x balanced outputs (stereo), 1x headphone jack, 1x external input, 1x CV/Gate input/output, MIDI in/out and USB connect the Xenophone to the rest of the world.
