The flat and, with 43 mm nut width, pleasantly wide "Super Wizard HP" neck profile also fits comfortably in the hand, so that every riff or solo succeeds on the 24-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard.
DiMarzio Fusion Edge Humbucker
As pickup for the Prestige RGR652AHB-WK Ibanez chooses two DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbuckers, whose open, white coil bodies elegantly contrast the matte black Finish. Specially designed for the modern sounds of rock and metal, the passive ceramic humbuckers convince at the guitar amplifier with a tight sound image, whose crisp Attack and tight bass foundation guarantee a razor-sharp representation of every note played, even at drop tunings and maximum gain. The 5-way switch also calls up the pickup in different circuit variations, so that together with the volume and tone pots, a wide variety of tonal colors are available.
Edge Double-Locking Tremolo
As an official metal guitar, the Ibanez RGR652AHB-WK Weathered Black naturally comes with an Edge Double-Locking Tremolo. While its smooth response allows for buttery-smooth implementation of dive-bombs and similar advanced lead techniques, the strings clamped to the headstock and bridge always maintain the correct tuning. Gotoh tuners on the distinctive inverted headstock also precisely tune the electric guitar.
