The Lewitt LCT 040 Match (Stereo Pair) are a matched pair of Instrument Condenser Microphones, ideal for Drum and Acoustic Guitar Recordings, which produce a detailed reproduction of the source audio. The natural musicality is thus preserved at all times, whilst your performance is reflected one-to-one. The well-balanced sound of these Small Diaphragm Condenser Microphones (with Cardioid characteristics) is pleasant at High Frequencies and makes them a high-quality addition to any Microphone collection. The LCT 040 is not only durable thanks to its CNC-Milled Aluminium Housing, but also very light, which makes even difficult positioning easy. Included with the package are Mounting Brackets, a Carrying Bag (2x Compartments) and a Windscreen per Microphone.
Lewitt has developed Software that automatically pairs Microphone Capsules with an Inaudible Tolerance of ± 0.5dB.
These sound amazing. I had seen some reviews on youtube, but I could not believe the sound difference when I used them as overheads. Was using C1000, and the Lewitts are a massive improvement!
amazing micophones. their build quality is superb, lightweight yet very durable due to their machined aluminium frames, they come in a very securely-packaged box that protects the mics during transport and while in storage. the carrying case thats provided is well made and fits both the mics and the clips in comfortably. the best feature about them is they're a matched pair so that you get minimal phasing issues and you get an exact replica of sound between the mics, whereas with some other mics you might get some differences in pickup and playback. overall, theyre amazing mics and im proud to say i use lewitt mics!
