The Motomouth Formant Filter by LimaFlo is a filter with a strong character, which is based on the sound of the formants of the human voice. The MMFF stands out clearly from most other filters because its main function is formant or vocal filtering. From a total of 16 vowels (A, E, I, O, U) and combinations, the filter produces very exciting and above all organic sound changes, which are difficult to realize even with several phasers. It is also possible that the sound can glide between two vowels. When using the gate socket, selected vowels can even be fixed; to be able to hit the vowels precisely with an incoming CV, they are internally coded. As an alternative mode a bandpass filter is available.
