Our cymbal-department has been looking for the ideal cymbal cleaner and thereby spared no expense or effort. We first asked ourselves: What are the characteristics of cymbals? They consist of metals, are prone to dust and dirt while playing, storage, at concerts and during transport, prone to corrosion and can lose its brilliance. What qualities would be therefore the ideal cleaner? We thought the cleaner should clean the cymbal easily, quickly and gently. Sounds logical, but what else should it provide? - Clearly, it must have a corrosion protection and a polishing effect. But that's not all: We also thought about the environment and wanted no chemistry or CO2 gas. Our cymbal cleaner is biodegradable, free of oil, solvent and silicone and is filled in pump bottle without propellants!
Description
The special cleaning fluid is a water-soluble and oil-free mild alkaline cleaner and at the same time corrosion protection inhibitor. It was developed to clean cymbals, hand-drums and brass instruments and to protect against corrosion. - Free of oil, solvent and silicone.
Applications
The cleaning spray is used as a mildly alkaline spray cleaner for brass instruments and secure especially with hand-drums a pleasant haptic. The product cleans hand perspiration, fingerprints and oily, greasy, water and oil soluble and stubborn residues. After the evaporation, the metal surface is protected from corrosion. The maximum corrosion protection is only guaranteed for internal storage.
Application
The medium is applied with 6-7 sprays on the surface and distributed with a soft microfiber cloth evenly. Rub and spread the medium until the surface feels dry and velvety. You can regain the brilliance of the brass surface when using polishing wool. The duration of the corrosion protection depends on how often the instrument is played or in what environment it is stored. In dry conditions, a corrosion protection for brass instruments such as hand drums is ensured up to 90 days. In a humid environment (e.g. near a lake or even sea) should be treated again after no more than 14-28 days.
