The Orange Crush Bass 50 Glenn Hughes Limited Edition was designed in close collaboration with the British bass legend from Staffordshire, who provided the low-end grooves for Deep Purple and the super group The Dead Daisies, among others. Based on the popular Bass Crush 50, the purple bass amp features 50 watts of power and analog circuitry for juicy Bass sounds.
Flexible sound shaping
The Glenn Hughes Crush Bass 50's analog solid state circuitry takes its cue from the bi-amping concept of complex bass rigs to deliver a wide range of top-notch clean and overdrive tones. While the Gain kn ob adjusts the distortion in the upper frequency ranges, the Blend knob determines the ratio of clean and distorted signal, so that from clean tones with prominent overtones to pre-full Bass Distortion every sound wish is fulfilled.
Active 3-band equalizer
For precise adjustment of the Bass sound, the Bass Crush 50 Glenn Hughes features an active 3-band tone control that offers up to 20 dB of boost or cut in the treble, while the midrange and bass can be boosted or cut by 15 dB each. In addition, the center frequency of the mid control can be freely selected between 300 Hz and 2.7 kHz to precisely adjust the sound character.
