The Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge offers even more dynamics, resolution and openness than the 2M Red. With an output voltage of 5.5 mV, it offers optimal sound reproduction and tonal accuracy. In this version, it was pre-mounted on an Ortofon SH-4 Black headshell. The needle insert features an elliptically cut diamond. The bodies of the 2M series are made of Hopelex, which brings high rigidity and prevents unwanted resonance during output. pickup of the 2M series also feature Ortofon's Split Pole Pin technology. This allows the moving magnet systems to achieve a frequency response that is as flat as that of moving coil pickups.
