With an output voltage of 5.5 mV , it offers optimal sound reproduction and tonal accuracy . In this version, it was pre-mounted on an Ortofon SH-4 Black headshell . The needle insert features an elliptically cut diamond . The bodies of the 2M series are made of Hopelex , which brings high rigidity and prevents unwanted resonance during output . pickup of the 2M series also feature Ortofon's Split Pole Pin technology . This allows the moving magnet systems to achieve a frequency response that is as flat as that of moving coil pickups.
