Electro acoustic guitar with 12 strings, cutaway and pickup system
The Red Hill AF-8 12-String Black is ideal for vocal accompaniment thanks to its double stringing and large dreadnought body. Due to the ultra-thin laminated tonewoods, the sound is developed quickly and over a wide area, so that a stately sound result can be achieved even with light strokes. At the same time, the easy-grip neck in combination with a generous cutaway guarantees optimal access to all 20 frets. Furthermore, the 12 steel strings can be tuned easily and precisely with the help of chrome-plated die-cast tuners. To make the instrument suitable for stage use, a pickup system is built into the AF-8 12 String, which can transmit the acoustic sound unaltered to an amplifier. The guitar is completed by a noble black high-gloss finish and simple inlays.

Structure and woods
Thanks to the combination of a laminated spruce top and a laminated Sapele body, the bass and midrange frequencies are enriched with a pleasant warmth so that the chorus effect produced by the double stringing is particularly strong. Therefore, expressive strumming as well as fine Pickings can be performed with the guitar without any problems. The Nato neck is very easy to handle on the entire composite fingerboard.

Hardware and design
To ensure clean intonation throughout the 650 mm scale length, the saddle and 49 mm wide nut are finely tuned to each other. In addition, the headstock is equipped with chrome-plated die-cast tuners for easy tuning of all 12 strings. The individual components of the body are bordered by single-ply, cream-coloured bindings that contrast tastefully with the installed woods. Visually, the instrument is rounded off by the black high-gloss finish.
