The wood base is light and makes it a lot more sturdy and the bags shape is maintained. The bad ends are less sturdy and can be damaged a lot easier by the weight so i would recommend reinforcing these. The wheels are large and create no issues on all surface types. i have used this on cobble stones to tarmac with no problems.
