Cedar top and sapele body
The acoustic heart of the Takamine P3DC is undoubtedly its exquisite tonewood combination in the form of a solid cedar top and solid sapele back and sides. While sapele produces a clear and bright tone, cedar provides a wonderful warmth of sound and overtone spectrum, making every note played exceptional and precise in sound. The sound characteristics of cedar wood are fully developed after a very short time, so that the model is ready for use in front of an audience right from the start. The large resonance body of the Dreadnought and the solid woods, guarantee improved vibration behavior for expressive playing, providing the necessary sound volume.

The volume control also offers adjustment to the ambient conditions and an integrated tuner enables quick and uncomplicated tuning.
