The key advantage of the DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor

The renowned Black Magic Design developed the compact DaVinci Resolve Speed editor to speed up the film editing process significantly. Accordingly, haptic controls provide a more comfortable user experience and a progressive workflow. The metal, soft-rubber-covered seeker allows for precise searching of the timeline and setting of edit points.

Progressive features and workflow

Adjustment knobs allow precise trimming in real-time, while transport buttons provide faster control output. Shuttle, jog and scroll buttons change the mode of the seeker, and the Source Tape provides fast scrolling through clips. The Smart Insert function on the keyboard locates the nearest edit marker in the timeline and simultaneously inserts the clip at that location. These and many other functions such as
: Append at End, Ripple Overwrite, Close Up, Place or Top, Source Overwrite, Trim In, Trim Out, Roll, Slip Source, Slip Destination, Transition Duration, Sync Bin, Audio Level, Full View etc. help the user to optimize his workflow decisively.

Control via Bluetooth and USB

The DaVinci Resolve Editor model already has Bluetooth integrated. Accordingly, the keyboard can be used without cable clutter and even together with your normal computer keyboard. This is ideal for use with a laptop. If required, the keyboard can also be connected via USB, while at the same time the battery is charged via the USB port. Thus, Bluetooth and the built-in battery ensure maximum mobility.
