The very compactly built Casio PX-S1100 is a simply and elegantly designed stage piano that makes a good impression in the living room, in the music school and on stage. The weighted 88-key Smart Scaled Action keyboard is velocity sensitive and provides a good playing feel. The surface of the keyboard, which consists of a synthetic ebony and ivory texture, also contributes to this. Thanks to 192 voiced polyphony, speedy playing is guaranteed even with two people at the instrument, without a note being swallowed. The 18 included sounds, eight of which are piano sounds, offer a good cut of classical, pop and jazz and are versatile. A selection of effects consisting of Hall (4 types), room simulation (2 types) and Chorus (4 types) further enhances the 18 sounds if desired. If you connect a USB stick to the Privia PX-S1100, you can record and play back up to 99 self-recorded songs of 25 minutes each in CD quality, depending on the size of the stick. The internal MIDI recorder is limited to one song with two tracks. The implemented Bluetooth functionality allows the exchange of MIDI and audio data via the wireless interface. So you can stream both directly into a computer with music software (DAW) for recording, use the stage piano as a wireless master keyboard or send the played sounds eg. to a hi-fi system.
