Dreadbox Dystopia Introduction
Noise Modular Synthesizer from Dreadbox
The Dystopia Black Light from Dreadbox is an experimental effects module with a variable noise generator that is part of the Chromatic Modules series. Dystopia is primarily a noise source that uses parallel Lowpass and Highpass filters to convert white noise to pink and blue respectively. Digital noise is also integrated, the bit rate of which can be varied between one second and 8000 Hertz. In the lowest settings, the DigiNoise functions as a random Gate generator. If an external signal is fed into the module, this replaces the noise generator and can be modified using the two filters. Of course, CV inputs and attenuators are provided for all parameters.
