The Erica Synths Zen Delay is a stereo delay effect designed in collaboration with the London-based label Ninja Tunes. Literally the most outstanding feature of the compact desktop unit is the tube protected by a bracket, which provides the very charismatic distortion sound. The five delay modes Tape, Tape Pingpong, Digital Pingpong, Digital, Crossover offer varied variations and sound consistently good. The delay time can be set manually in the range of 1-5000 milliseconds or via tap tempo or MIDI clock between 1/8 - x8. The sixth delay mode bypasses the delay effect and sends the stereo signal directly into the analog resonant filter, which is switchable between lowpass, bandpass and highpass. Of course, the Erica Synths Zen Delay Delay and filter can be used at the same time!
