With the Gibson Firebird Elite Heritage Cherry Sunburst, the legendary company from Nashville, Tennessee presents a particularly noble interpretation of the legendary blues and rock guitar. Based on the traditional construction with continuous neck and body wings made of mahogany, the electric guitar is wrapped in an elegant Heritage Cherry Sunburst Nitro finish, which is accentuated by trapeze inlays and golden hardware. Two Gibson Mini humbuckers also promise brilliant blues and rock sounds, while Steinberger gearless tuners on the headstock provide a precise tuning.

Of course, Gibson uses the traditional construction and design by car designer Ray Dietrich for the construction of the Gibson Firebird Elite. Accordingly, the full-length, nine-piece neck made of mahogany and a plywood veneer represents the heart of the electric guitar, to which the body wings made of mahogany are glued. With its slim "Slim" profile, the Firebird offers comfortable playability across the entire fingerboard made of Roasted Granadillo.
The Gibson Firebird Elite Heritage Cherry Sunburst uses two Gibson Mini Humbuckers with classic Alnico magnets. Due to the very narrow magnetic field, the pickups convince with the typical hum-free sound, but deliver a much more brilliant sound than conventional humbuckers. Accordingly, the Firebird is both clean and distorted in the band sound and provides the perfect basis for expressive blues and rock sounds.
Steinberger Gearless Tuners promise a precise mood and maintain the authentic vintage look of the Firebird elite.
Rooted in tradition, the Gibson Firebird Elite also features a reversed headstock with striking banjo-style tuners. The Steinberger Gearless Tuners are modern interpretations that convince with particularly precise tuning and convenient string changes. The body also features Ted McCarty's pair of Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece, which allows optimal adjustment of string position and intonation.
