The school for beginners in keyboard playing. For all single-manual keyboards with automatic accompaniment
Song accompaniment with fingered chords. Polyphonic playing. Ensemble playing. Tips for using the keyboard.
The target group of this textbook for single-manual keyboard with accompaniment is young people and those young at heart who want to learn the range of this technically versatile instrument without any previous practical or theoretical knowledge. The two authors, well-known authors and sought-after pedagogues, started out with the intention of imparting playing skills, music-theoretical knowledge and know-how in the operation of the automatic accompaniment system. Song accompaniment with fingered chords, polyphonic playing and ensemble playing are just as much part of the learning content as basic musical terms, ear training (rhythms, sounds, chords) and harmonising. In the selection of the pieces, enriched with oldies and hits, it was possible to combine methodical guidelines and musical demands.
