The KMA Audio Machines Cirrus is a Digital Delay/Reverb Effect Pedal for Electric Guitar. Each effect has 3x selectable Modes, and extensive configuration options, to create spectacular results. The KMA Cirrus offers a Tap Tempo function with a division switch for the note value of the repetitions and an expression pedal connection for controlling effect parameters in real time.
Delay
The left side of the Cirrus is taken up by the Delay effect, which provides both classic and modern sounds with a total of 3x effect modes. The MOD mode provides a classic Delay with a band-echo-like modulation of the repetitions, while the OCT mode delivers the same octave. The S/H mode provides sounds with distinct Synthesizer properties. Using the familiar Delay, Time, and Mix controls, you can control the amount of the effect, the time until the echoes begin, and the number of echoes. The additional Sens-Pot also determines a parameter that depends on the selected mode. The Delay time can also be easily adjusted to the song speed using the Tap Tempo footswitch, and the Division switch allows you to select 3x different note values for the repetitions.
3x Reverb Modes
Housed in the right half of the pedal, the plastic reverb effect of the KMA Audio Machines Cirrus also offers three modes for reverberation rooms with a wide variety of sounds. While the MOD mode applies harmonic modulation to the reverb tail, the Closing High-Pass and Opening High-Pass Filter modes filter different frequency ranges from the Reverb tail. The Reverb, Decay, and Damp controls allow you to adjust the effect amount, Reverb decay time and treble amount of the signal. The Sense control also lets you adjust a parameter that is determined by the selected parameter.
Expression Connector
With a comprehensive connection periphery and intelligent footswitches, the Cirrus offers additional possibilities for sound design and control. The effects path allows you to integrate your own devices into the signal chain, while the Exp connector allows you to use optionally available expression pedals to control a selectable effect parameter in real time. In Bypass Mode, the Engage footswitch also functions as a Momentary switch that activates the pedal only as long as the switch is pressed. When the Effect is active, holding down the Engage switch also maximizes the decay time of the reverb, while holding down the Tap footswitch maximizes the Reverb when the Effect is active.
