The Markbass Little Mark Rocker 58R at a glance:
With the Little Mark Rocker 58R from Markbass, the Italian amp manufacturer delivers a Bass top that delivers a concentrated load of power for pumping bass lines and dense drive distortion. Bassists from hard environments in particular will get their money's worth with various drive options and uncompromising distortion to get the sound that is ideal for crunchy rock sounds or deep metal riffs. At the heart of the Little Mark Rocker 58R is the transistor preamp, while the MPT power amp (Mark Proprietary Technology) provides an assertive sound that proves its worth both on stage and at Studio! The amp delivers a total output of 500 watts and also offers extensive tone control options for all rock and metal tastes!
With two drive modes, an additional drive/blend function and the powerful 4-band EQ, all doors are open for a heavy sound for rough rock to aggressive metal!
Powerful drive, precise 4-band EQ and old-school filter
The Little Mark Rocker 58R is characterized by two powerful drive modes that can be selected via a toggle switch. Not only can the amount of distortion be set using the drive control - the additional blend control offers flexible options for mixing the distorted signal with the clean signal or covering it up without compromise, as required. From light drive warmth to rough Distortion, the Little Mark Rocker 58R offers a wide range of distortion options for unconditional clipping! In addition, two EQ presets can be activated via a 3-way switch to further shape the sound: The FLAT preset is limited to an untouched equalizer, while the CUT preset provides a defined sound with lowered mids, boosted bass and treble. If the switch is set to FSW , the optional double footswitch can be used to control the drive/blend range or the cut EQ preset, while the old school control can be used to shape the frequency image of a classic vintage sound.
MPT power amplifier and practical features
With patented Mark Proprietary Technology , the Little Mark Vintage 58R delivers a rich power amp that is specifically designed for the E-Bass to preserve the instrument's inherent sound. In addition, the amp comes with a DI output, which offers a high-quality DI circuit so that extreme transients are processed cleanly and precisely without any unpleasant distortion or sound coloration. Other features of the Little Mark Rocker 58R include the FX loop for seamless integration of external effects, a DI control and toggle switches for mute on/off, post and pre EQ and ground lift. In addition, the sound can be boosted between -46 dB and +23 dB via the front gain control to achieve an even more powerful Output for an assertive bass sound.
