With the Marshall Origin series, Marshall returns to the roots of its own sound traditions. The straightforward amplifiers in plexi and bluesbreaker design follow the classic single-channel design of the early Marshall amplifiers and meet all the demands of today's guitarists, from clear cleans to warm crunch and overdrive sounds. Thanks to Powerstem technology, all amplifiers in the series can also be operated at lower power levels, allowing the Marshall Origin series to be used in the living room or bedroom studio without any problems.
The Marshall Origin 50 Head is the most powerful amp top of the series. With a maximum output of 50 watts and connections for 8 or 16 ohms speakers, the amplifier has enough power for larger performances and concerts. Last but not least, the effect loop offers enough room for reverb and modulation effects.
In addition to a 3-band EQ to control the preamplifier sound, the Marshall Origin amplifiers offer the so-called tilt control. This acts independently of the EQ setting and switches continuously between the warm traditional Marshall Tone of normal input and a treble-rich vintage voicing. With the Powerstem technology, all amplifiers can also be reduced in power by means of output switches to make the power amplifier sound rich and juicy even at lower volumes.
This is by far the nicest Marshall amp ever, it's very clean and high-sounding, if you play at home or apartment you will need to buy an attenuator, it's just super loud.
The amplifier takes pedals fantastically and what i like the most about it is htat it doesnt have that colored annoying nasal sound that other Marshall do, it sounds cristaline clean and is just GREAT.
The tilt button makes the voicing of the amp more or less bright, you can play anything with it, if you play metal like me, be ready to put some heavy distortions in front of it.
