The Meinl Cajon Drumset 4 is ideal for small unplugged or acoustic gigs with the band. It is also an ideal solution for street musicians, because the beats can be transferred from the big drum set to the Meinl Cajon Drumset 4 in order to give the music a completely new sound character. Thanks to the Meinl Mountable Cajon Snare (MCS1-BK) the Cajon player does not have to do without a defined snare sound. The Meinl TMSTCP Direct Drive Cajon pedal guarantees loss-free power transmission and a deep kick. Thanks to the low hi-hat stand, the HiHat can be reached optimally from a seated position and the Meinl MCS HiHats sound defined and round in 14", thanks to a special alloy.
The body of this shapely Cajon is made of birch. This creates a dry, deep basic tone. The playing surface of the Meinl headliner Cajon CAJNT-AE is made of rare almond eucalyptus wood. This exotic wood has a soft playing feel and a warm basic character. Two snare wires are used for a fat snare attack. The crisp snare sound in combination with the distinctive bass character of the Meinl headliner Cajon CAJNT-AE promises a round sound with a wide frequency spectrum.
The Meinl TMSTCP Cajon foot pedal has a direct drive, which ensures a loss-free and direct transfer of power from the foot to the beater. This makes the Cajon pedal much more precise in play than comparable models with chain or cable drive. Thanks to the angled pedal bar, the player can adopt his usual sitting posture. By adjusting the spring tension, the Cajon pedal can be adjusted to the desired playing feel; the flexible clamping device fits all common Cajon models. The soft foam beater guarantees a wide punch with a lot of bass.
With a diameter of only 7.5" and a recessed snare carpet, the Meinl Cajon Snare creates a high, cutting snare sound that is able to assert itself in every case and combines the metallic character of a conventional snare with the percussive, woody note of a wood block. The suitable suspension for mounting on the HiHat stand is included.
The BCMS1 rods from Meinl are made of hand-picked bamboo and are suitable for use on the playing surface of the Cajon, but also on hi-hat and snare a crisp, defined sound is created.
The well tuned HCS HiHat produces a soft, warm sound with defined "Chick" and the MLH HiHat stand with its low profile and the great running characteristics is ideally suited for the seat height of the headliner Cajon. It integrates perfectly into the Meinl Cajon drum set and allows the drummer to assume a comfortable playing position so that nothing stands in the way of a great performance.
