Noble woods and meticulous processing
The guitar builders around Paul Reed Smith only use carefully selected woods for the construction of the Custom 24 Black Gold Burst to create the perfect sound experience. Selected mahogany is used for the body, whereas the solid flamed maple top in sublime 10-top quality has a distinctive and even flame. The set mahogany neck with its flat "Pattern Thin" profile offers extremely smooth playability. On the rosewood fretboard, traditional bird inlays ensure optimal orientation between the 24 frets.
Combined with the 5-way circuit, the two PRS 85/15 humbuckers deliver versatile guitar sounds.

The PRS Custom 24 uses two PRS 85/15 humbuckers, which were developed by Paul Reed Smith himself on the occasion of the company's 30th anniversary. These pickups deliver a clear sound with an extended bass and treble range that provides the perfect foundation for classic and modern sounds, from warm, sparkling clean to singing overdrive and pushing riffs.

High quality hardware
The features of the PRS Custom 24 10-Top Black Gold Burst are completed by high-quality hardware from their own production. The strings are held in place on the body by the proven PRS Gen III tremolo, which impresses with its smooth handling and high functionality, and offers a comfortable grip thanks to its rounded edges. At the headstock the strings run with straight tension from the nut to the PRS Phase III locking tuners.
