Singlecut electric guitar with 24.5" scale length

The classic mahogany body of the PRS SE 245 Vintage Sunburst provides Paul Reed Smith with a solid maple top and figured maple veneer, whose intense grain is brought to life by the transparent Vintage-Sunburst-Finish. When playing the guitar, the glued mahogany neck with its "wide fat" profile feels full and comfortable in the hand, while the short 24.5" scale length (622 mm) allows for smooth string pulls and makes even complex chords and melodies come off easily. Between the 22 frets of the rosewood fingerboard provide furthermore the traditional PRS Bird inlays for best orientation.

At the amplifier the PRS SE 245 Vintage Sunburst convinces with versatile Vintage sounds, with which the electric guitar makes a perfect appearance in every musical direction, no matter if pop, blues, rock or even metal. Responsible for this are the two PRS SE 245 "S" humbuckers in the neck and bridge position, which provide a harmonious sound in the clean channel as well as at Overdrive and Distortion. Thus, the neck pickup convinces with its soft low end, vocal singing mids and silky highs that make every note sing, while the bridge pickup, thanks to tight basses, focused mids and brilliant highs, presents every note precisely without masking the warm Vintage character.
