The Session Studio Classic boilers are based on Pearl's tried and tested, classic"session recipe" by mixing the birch with Carpur. The result is a drum kit that makes every sound technician rave with full attack and punch.
Harmonious sound
The secret of the well-balanced sound lies in the core of the boiler. This consists of the hard wood Kapur, which is known for warmth and punch. This core is surrounded by light birch wood, the combination of the two materials results in an extremely round frequency mix that meets all modern requirements. The precisely machined 45° burr guarantees an exact fur support and good tunability.
Externally the boilers are painted in a complex process, which normally only becomes part of the much more expensive Masters, Reference and Masterworks series. Beginners and advanced users will love the Session Studio Classic Sets, because they are really professional instruments, which also meet higher requirements.

Pearl Session Studio Classic SSC924XSDP/C, Piano Black
I bought my Pearl Session series kit a few years ago. I wanted something more than the export but not as steep as the Masters. I've used it mostly for personal use but have gigged with it too. Maple shells give a warm tone and the kit was sturdy and travelled well. Nice mid range kit for semi professional players and enthusiasts
