What's new?
Reason's Rack delivers tons of legendary synths, instruments and effects that you can easily integrate into your projects. The special feature of version 11 is its compatibility with other DAWs. This means that Reason 11 can easily be used as a standalone application for recording instruments and MIDI data, or loaded as a plug-in version into the music production software of your choice. This gives you full control over hundreds of sounds and features without the need to get used to a new DAW.

Qartet Chorus Ensemble: This virtual effects unit runs four different Chorus and Ensemble effects, ranging from the classic VintageChorus to the granular Ensemble.
Sweeper Modulation Effect: This is a true multi-talent that combines phaser, Flanger and filter with dynamic modulation capabilities.
Mixing Console modules are now available as Rack Devices.
Master Bus Compressor: Reason's "ready-for-radio" compressor can now be used anywhere in the rack!
Channel Dynamics: Whether it's a compressor, expander or Gate, you can now use Reason's console anywhere you need it.

Audio clip crossfades - adjacent audio clips can now be crossfaded to quickly avoid unnecessary clipping during playback
Improved and individual vertical zoom
Mute MIDI notes - mute individual midi notes to add variation to recordings and try things out without having to change the position or delete the note itself.
New "Pen Tool" - write multiple notes in your regions in real time. This is especially useful for Drum programming.
Played and selected notes can now be displayed in Key Edit
