The TC Helicon Voicetone Harmony-G XT features improved harmony technology and reverb from its big brother VoiceLive 2. Harmony-G XT will improve your tone and surround your voice with pro effects and vocal harmony.
TC Helicon Harmony G XT has new features such as improved NaturalPlay guitar-controlled harmony algorithm, front-of-house quality reverb algorithm and selection of styles from VoiceLive 2. Also USB connection for easy software updates, tips, and preset backup using the included VoiceSupport applet.
Harmony-G XT has a good ear for music. It listens to your performance and decides what harmony notes would sound best with your song. Connect your guitar and a mic, choose one of the presets, play guitar and sing. No special guitar pickups, pre-programming, or extensive musical knowledge are required in order to use Harmony-G XT
In a recording you can layer your lead melody to create extra thickness. Live, it’s not so easy. The Double button on Harmony-G XT activates a realistic, overdub style doubling effect on your voice that you can use alone or in tandem with the harmony voices.

TC Helicon Voicetone Harmony-G XT Main Features Include:
Solidly built and does exactly what it says it will do. Harmonies are fantastic and easy to set up. The FX sounds are great and the range of customising is huge. You are recommended to update this unit as soon as you get it vie the Internet using the connecting USB cable supplied, it only takes a few seconds but you will then be running the latest software. If you use this with say the TC Helicon voice tone correct they advise you not to use the Tone setting on this unit but use the one on the TC Correct. I would recommend this unit to anyone and the price is just right.
An awesome unit with a very professional sound and superb FX. Heavy enough to feel sturdy and strong but compact enough to be around your feet. Generally easy to set up and use, even for a beginner. Buttons seem as they will last forever. Perfect for solo performers or for bands with one singer. It will enhance your performance immediately. I was finally able to sing "Serenade" from Steve Millers Band and sound great ! The tone button will be there to show what you wanted to do with your EQ and you just couldnt. For solo performers it can be the one and only piece of equipment, as it can work both for your guitar and vocals and lead the signal to your pa or even to an active speaker without having to use a console. Plus phantom power for condenser mics and a guitar tuner ! What else would anybody need ? I would recommend this unit to everybody.
Having used the predecessor to this unit it is quite easy to use but if you are new to it then it might seem complicated at time but even so it does not take long to get some stunning harmonies out of it. The only thing that concerns me at the moment is that the doubling button does not seem to do anything no doubt it is something that I am doing because in the videos it seem to work just fine.
