XOR Electronics Multi-IO Expander Black at a glance
The Multi-IO Expander is an expansion module with MIDI connections for the XOR Electronics NerdSeq. The expander supplements the sequencer and MIDI inputs and outputs in various formats and four additional control elements. A USB master keyboard can be connected directly to USB Host for note input. USB Device is intended for connection to a computer with DAW. MIDI is available at the TRS-A inputs and outputs; thanks to the MIDI-TRS adapter cables supplied, almost any MIDI device can be connected here. The two I2C ports connect to compatible modules/devices such as 16n Faderbox, ER301, distingEX or Just Friends. The second connection via ribbon cable is located on the back of the module. The three buttons and the non-gridded encoder allow more effective editing of patterns and navigation through functions and menu pages of the NerdSeq. Fans of data input via MegaDrive controller can use the separately available Sega Gamepad Expander.
