The Yamaha DZR315 at a glance
The Yamaha DZR & DXS XLF series focus on high quality workmanship, optimized low frequencies and above all wide adjustment possibilities and control via DSP. The Yamaha DZR315 is a 3 way bi-amp active speaker with bass reflex, highest sound quality and is the most powerful model in the DZR series with a maximum SPL of 143dB.
More settings & more control via DSP
The speaker is equipped with a 2" tweeter, an 8" midrange and a 15" woofer. The frequency range is 31 Hz to 20 kHz and is best suited for FOH Main PA. It includes a high power 2000W class-D amplifier module.
The LCD display on the rear panel provides wide DSP functions with more control over individual components, optimizing the use of each unit as mobile sound reinforcement or fixed installation over wide cabling or short cabling.
Another DSP function is FIR technology, which consists of Advanced FIR-X Tuning, FIR Filtering and Correct EQ. It enables accurate and high-resolution sound reproduction by equalizing the sound in phase.
Also included is the Load Presets DSP function to save settings for later use.
Housing
The speaker's cabinet is a lightweight in its class. It is made of durable wood with a high-quality plastic coating. With the M10 mounting points, the speaker can be mounted on the wall or on the floor. With the M20 flange, the speaker can be placed above a suitable subwoofer using a stand.
Warranty extension for DBR/DXR/DZR active speakers
Yamaha offers an extended warranty for the entire active loudspeaker program.
The following products have warranty extension to 7 years, instead of 2 years:
