Really a tool that can be the envy of those who have spent a lot of Euros for pedals very reputable. This Phaser is easy to use professionally. The bypass is true, even on online forums, discussions and feel silly. Just remove the battery and check that the pedal passes the guitar signal normally. A slight drop in volume and normal found in other similar effects.
The sound is good but not top notch, the build seems a little weak but it isnt plastic. It is very cheap so definitely worth it if you want to try out what a phaser can give you. Might not be what you want if you want to take it with you somewhere or perform live.
I am amazed how good this is, not only for the money but in general. It is built like a tank and sounds incredible. If you want to try a phaser but don't want to splash out this is for you, it will do just anything a vintage phaser should do. It may be a little large but worth making space for.
The VP1 gives a good classic phaser sound and is excellent value for money. There are two cons - it's very big (I don't like micro pedals, but this is a little over-sized) and, with my unit at least, there is a perceptible volume drop when it's in the signal chain. I'd recommend it for those who prefer effect laden sounds and don't rely principally on their core tone.
