ESP relies on the proven MH design with a sleek Mahogany body and curved Maple top as well as a 3-piece "Set Thru" Maple neck. The fast "Thin U" profile creates optimal playing conditions over all 24x frets of the Macassar Ebony fingerboard.
The established combination of the active EMG 81 & 85 pick-ups in the bridge and neck respectively produces a dynamic and punchy tone, with tight low end response and a marginally compressed high for singing sustain.
