Fender Made in Japan Traditional '50s Telecaster MN Sonic Blue, Texas Special front
The Fender Made in Japan Traditional '50s Telecaster MN Sonic Blue, Texas Special delivers the authentic Tele sound of the 50s!

Tele neck with strong U-profile

The traditional maple neck of the Telecaster with its U-profile clearly refers to the powerful shaping of the early fatback necks and offers an astonishing amount of wood from headstock to neck heel, giving the player absolute control over secure Chords and sensitive Blues licks. Of course, the balanced 9.5" radius of the fingerboard and its 21 frets in vintage format also play an important role in conveying an all-round iconic Tele feel.

Custom Shop Texas Special Single Coils

Of course, the sound of the Fender Made in Japan Traditional '50s Telecaster is also as close as possible to the iconic model of the 1950s and relies on two Custom Shop Texas Special single coils wound according to a tried and tested recipe. The single coils in the neck and bridge position produce the authentic twang and growl that made the Telecaster immortal and have a moderate Output with an enormous dynamic range, and can easily produce an incredible variety of potential sounds from country to stadium rock.

Fifties hardware

The Japanese-made '50s Telecaster is completed by add-on parts that are clearly modeled on the early Telecaster era. The 3-saddle Vintage-Style Tele bridge features three brass 'barrel' string saddles and classic resonant string guidance through the body, while the headstock has six vintage-style tuners and a butterfly-style string hold-down for reliable tuning stability and the correct contact pressure on the bone nut.
