The uMM Midi Merge/Thru A/B Converter from Flame is a practical tool that facilitates the handling and distribution of MIDI signals inside and outside the modular system. The upper part is a MIDI Merger, which combines up to three MIDI inputs and conveniently sends them in parallel to three outputs. A merger is often required when eg. Controller, keyboard and master clock are to be sent from three different sources to one destination. The middle section consists of twoMIDI thru distributors of the same design, which copy a MIDI signal to three outputs without loss. This function is extremely useful for distributing the MIDI-Clock alone. All connections are designed as TRS-B connections. The lower unit converts from TRS-A to TRS-B and vice versa. Handy if you don't have the right adapter cable to hand.
