Four-string left-handed electric bass with PowerSpan pickups and active electronics
The Ibanez SR300EBL-WK Lefthand Weathered Black is a left-handed four string bass guitar from the famous Ibanez Soundgear range. This bass guitar has a wealth of features, suitable for many styles of music and at a price that is friendly to all budgets. The lightweight body is constructed of mahogany and the slim, easy-to-play profiled 5-piece neck is constructed of maple and rosewood. The PowerSpan dual-coil pickups, developed by Ibanez, produce a strong signal with an increased response of the higher frequencies. This is all without sacrificing low end, resulting in a tone rich in harmonic detail and dynamic response. The pickups are complimented with the Ibanez Custom Electronics, featuring a 3-band EQ with a 3-way Power Tap switch. This switch gives the option of running the pickups in single coil (Tap) mode, humbucking (Series) mode and Power Tap which combines the two previous modes, giving the clarity of a single coil with the fat sound of a humbucker. The SR300EBL-WK also features an Accu-cast B120 bridge with 19mm string spacing.

I've never played bass before, but I play guitar. Play a bass was my dream. And my colleagues gifted me a certificate to buy a bass guitar. After research, I chose this one. It was a great combination of price, quality, and amount of strings. It came to me in a couple of days and when I tried it I've gone to nirvana b/c of sound. I'm not a specialist but I do recommend this bass.

An amazing instrument for the money. Low weight, excellent tones, smoothest and least sticky neck I've used on any guitar/bass in this price range. Had it for about 3 weeks now, can't find a fault on it. Sure, it doesn't sound quite like a bass 10 times the price, but I would gig with this any day.
