Mesa Boogie Mark 5:25 Golden Gate Custom Halfstack

The Mesa Boogie Mark 5:25 Golden Gate Custom Half-stack is a custom edition all-tube guitar amplifier head and speaker cabinet. The Mark 5:25 is a 25 watt version of the flagship Mark V tube amplifier which incorporates the sounds of past Mark series amplifiers. The two-channel head consist of a clean channel with 3 voices selected from the Mark V resume, including ‘Clean’, ‘Fat’ and ‘Crunch’. The lead channel comprises of three voices; ‘MK 11C+’, ‘MKIV’ and ‘Xtreme’. The two channels can be toggled with the included footswitch.

The variety of voices delivers a highly versatile amplifier that can be used for virtually all genres of music. The Mark 5:25 head has independent tube reverb for each channel, 3-band EQ and a switchable 5-band graphic equaliser. The graphic EQ can also be toggled via the included footswitch. The amp also features Mesa/Boogie’s ‘Multi-Watt’ assignable power system. This allows you to change the output power from 25 watts to 10 watts for each channel. The Mark V 25 also includes the Mesa/Boogie ‘Cab Clone’ DI system which is a combined cabinet simulator and DI output.

The 1x12” Mini-Recto Slant cabinet is a perfect match for the Mark 5:25 head, with its compact size and power handling. This custom version is constructed of solid walnut with a wicker grill and elegant art deco inlays, to match the head which is also constructed of the same custom materials. The cabinet features a Celestion 30 12” speaker that delivers a focused midrange and tight low end that retains definition even at extreme high gain settings. The whole rig includes Mesa/Boogie amp covers.
